New Year's

We're getting ready for our New Year's Eve party tomorrow. We're running around a little bit getting this and that. We've invited quite a few people and expecting a pretty good turn out. Some are really excited about it and that feels great to know people have fun in your home and look forward to being there. I think my girlfriend, Erica, has texted me every other day this month about it. She's so cute.

We're very excited for 2009! Hopefully this will be our year for a little one. Monday is our first appointment since the Lupron Depot shots and I can't wait to see what the dr has to say. I'm trying to prepare myself for patience, because who knows when I'll ovulate again. The nurse at my last visit mentioned something about estrogen, so I'm sure that will kick start things or at least attempt to. Either way, it's all in God's hands and according to His plan. I know His plan includes a child, so I just have to keep faith that 10 months or 10 years from now we will be mommy and daddy.

First things first...let's get the party started and celebrate today!! Happy New Year everyone (you 2 followers YOU!)!! Love you!

Thank God

I just want to thank God for the beautiful babies He will give to us. I have every faith that we will be parents and that God is already doing His thing to bring them to us. Thank You, Lord, ahead of time for these gifts. I praise Your name. Thank You for the medicine that is available to us to cure my endometriosis. Thank You for the steps You've put in place to get us to that next step of becoming parents. I pray that Your will be done. In Jesus' name. Amen!

Menopause

First hot flash since I began this blog. Yay! I literally want to unzip my skin and crawl out when I get these!! It feels as if I'm in a hot car and can't roll down the window. I can't get my layers peeled fast enough. I'm equipped, though. Next to my desk is a heater for the winter and a fan for the hot flashes. Keep in mind that this is all for the babies. Menopause = no estrogen = no more endometriosis = BABIES!!! We're hopeful anyway. The doctor said these hot flashes will "generally go away" after I'm done with the shots. Either way, when we have a little one this will all be worth it.
